Search Engine Local Business Centers

The three major search engines have “Local Business Centers” where you can add your business so that it shows up in the search results when someone types in a keyword intending to find a business or service.  This is one of the first things I think everyone should do because it is easy and also FREE.  The three major business centers are:

  1. http://www.google.com/localbusinesscenter
  2. http://local.yahoo.com/
  3. https://ssl.bing.com/listings/BusinessSearch.aspx
